long time no post!

so sorry i havent been on lately
i have been so busy!
school is pretty hard

i am coming in this weekend to ny for 2 days and then boston for a week
im going alone
this should be fun

hawaii is not getting better
im just getting more homesick
and im sad because most of my friends dont reach out to me i have to always reach out to them

today! SOOO MANY THINGS!

ITS 12:54 A.M NOVEMBER 21ST!!!!!


i have been in ny for alll day and last night!
today was AMAZINGGGG!!
OMGGG!!!


so first i had breakfast at the hotel
and then i went to RCDS (old school) everybody was so excited to see me
i followed sarah
and laighed and had a blast all day!
all the boys in my class- well they have matured but they havent matured
there voices are totaly low and there taller but they are still pretty immature? you know. lol

then sarahs mom drove me and sarah to the arts cafe where we met up with ari and soph
it was soo much fun!
laughing and talking about urben the latte boy!!
hes HOTTTTT!!!


anyway after that us 4 went to some nasty frozen yogurt place
then after they left i hung out with olivia for about a half an hour or like 45 minutes

then i bought the CUTEST BAG! its green like navy green and had the word "peace" all over it and two big peace signs
its so cute!

and then my dad drove me to hebrew school and i saw adina, claire, and michelle (again) and then like everybody else from barnert. we watched a movie that was like peices of jane or something.. about thanksgiving

then debbie (adinas mom) took my to the hotel where eathan (adinas brother) was with sean. then me and adina hung out for about an hour and then she went home

THENNN! (oh yes theres more)
tessie came over for 3 hours
we had dominos pizza and hung out
omg and sean and eathan were making noise and the guy next door screamed "SHUT UP!" and called the front desk
then they became quiet and for a few minutes and were loud again for a little while and the guy put PORN on really really loudly LIKE BLASTING!
so my dad went to his door and knocked and screamed "TURN THAT DOWN NOW!" and the guy wouldnt open his door and there was no sound!!
so he called the front desk and security came and knocked on the door and said "THIS IS SECURITY. OPEN THIS DOOR IMMIDIATLY!" and nobody answered or opened the door.
sooooo.. the security guy called the manager and the manager came up with his all access key and opened the door and NOBODY WAS THERE!! the guy left!!
anyway, the guy turned it off and gave the manager and security guard pizza.
it was so bizareeeeeee!
so then tessie left later on and now i am here writing this!!!



oh and by the way if you wanted to know what i did last night- i hung out with adina claire and michelle and the maison jar, we had dinner and loao the whole time (loao= laughed our asses off)

tomorrow im prolly hanging out with nicky, cedric, and jake and then writers workshop and then i go to boston!!

i only got an hour and a half of sleep

i will be in ny in 6 hours tho!

3 days

3 more days till my visit home!!

i hope everything goes as planned...
there are 3 main things im worried about:

RENT still being on strike :o
my dads meeting going overtime on friday meaning we cant fly in till saturday :o
sean still being sick meaning i dont know how i will go :o :o :o

these things are all 50/50 except for the third the chances of him being sick are like 10%...
anyway.... im excited
but im nervous about the long flight ride
ughhh!

i cant wait to see all my friends
and maybe i will show up at RCDS for a bit ;)
that would be fun!

two important lessons

7 days till ny!
im so excited i can hardly sleep!

things have been dull here.. finals are over thank GOD!!! ugh!

tonite was good, i had a really incredible (maybe possibly life changing perhaps) conversation with a close guy friend from back home, and it really made me realize-

it doesnt matter where your friends are, what matters is if you can find them, and if you can then they are right there and your together.

yep!
i got some stuff at claires
like a hello kitty diary so i can write all of the things i say on here with more detail and things i would never tell anyone!

oh and i also learned that when somebody moves away or goes to a different school, then well.. ok lets just say becky goes to a different school and leaves her good friend jill and they both want to keep in touch, then jill doesnt call becky and within one month of not talking becky freaks out saying "jill doesnt like me anymore! she hasnt called me!" well becky, you have to take the liberty to call her, because life gets crazy and if people dont always keep in touch well, you have to do something about it if you really are dedicated to keeping the friendship alive.

sorry i havent gotten on lately- been busy busy busy!!!

today was halloween and it was very fun!

i went with my friend madi and we found like 10 kids in our class and they invited us to join them so we did!

we got a good amount of candy!

the show i was in has just ended
REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE!
good memories!!!

todays daddys birthday! we just finished dinner
me and sean made a pinapple upside down cake with our secret family recipe
it was fun!

school was ok, rehearsal is pretty intense now!!

i have a new friend named brianna and i think we are gunna be really good friends

so my first week of school is completed!
now i have a 3 day weekend
my english and songwriting teacher mr. najita is a genious
he is the most amazing teacher i have ever had and will every have
hes not like any other person live

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!

first day of school was amazing!!!!
there were so many nice ppl!
many hott guys
and theres some rly cool, kind girls named annie, jazz, and sally who i hung with!

my scedule is..

block 1- Drama [yay this is with ms. oom shes soooo cool! i love it]
block 2- Study hall [so if i dont finish my hw the night before i will have 50 minutes to do it here!}
block 3- Spanish 1 [i wish they had french.. but now i will be semitrilingual!]
block 4- Algebra 1 [repeating it because i wanted to understand it better because ms. miller was umm.. yeah]
LUNCH! i can go anywhere for 50 minutes, we can leave an go wherevever we want as long as we are ontime to our next class, today i went to subway, but theres sushi, chinese, pizza, health food store, sandwiches, mcdonalds and so many more places!
block 5- World History [that should be fun, ms. inaba is nice]
block 6- Songwriting and Recording [I LOVE MR. NAJ! hes so amazinggg!]
block 7- English [with Mr. Naj also! [[hes rly mr. najita but everyone calls him naj or mr. naj]

also.. there are only 6 blocks a day, this is very confusing so if u dont understand get over it.. some kids have been there for 3 yrs and they still dont intirerly get it:

every day starting with the first day of school is day 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7.. on the first day you do NOT have your block 1 class.. second day you dont have block 2 class.. and so on. so that way u have 6 blocks.. its not by days of the week like monday isnt always block 1.. and if we have a vacation or a day off and lets say on tuesday we have school and its block three then we have off until the next wednesday, that day will be block 4

tomorrow=first day of school
aka today is my last day of summer *tear tear*
but it was... not terrible

i still have to read 100 PAGES of my summer reading book

sorry i havent posted in a long ass time.. im at ilc [my camp] its really good.. theres about 8 more days left.. ive done so many things! i will tell u about them later.. but im having fun.

i havent written one of these in a few days so i thought i would because sarah told me that she was reading them<33

i love u sarah!
today was so much fun

today me and sarah hung out at my house, and talked for a long time, on the couch, on the lawn, on the trampoline, on the side of the pool!

and we trapolined
and i fought with my annoying bro

we also made some delicious dip for strawberries..

ingredients- [serves two people]

2 hershy bars
6-10 nonpareils in a bowl together
put in microwave for 30 seconds, and then take out for 2 seconds and then put it back in for another 30 seconds and repeat that about 3 more times until the chocolate completely moist, then mix it up
now take 6-8 oreos and crush them and put them on a plate, when ur chololate is done mix it well, but keep the oreos on the plate

now you take the strawberries and cover them in chocolate using a fork or hands and then roll them in the oreas its soo yummy!!!



so my daddys coming home on wednesday and then we r going to lake george on frieday and then hes driving me to camp on sunday! im so excited!!

Past-Present-Future

Hey, my names Marena Faye, but my blogname is Hawaii Girl. This blog is a story, a story filled with drama, comedy, and tragedy, maybe even a little romance! This story is about me, a 14 year old girl who is about to start a brand new life. but this isnt my whole story. it starts january.
but before i start with the story we have to get some facts straight so your not confused. Sean is my 10 year old brother, my parents are NOT devorced (not that you would think they were, just saying) sophie (who is mentioned here) is one of my best friends from school) and i am in 8th grade.
anyway back to the story, it all started in january 2007, i was sitting on the couch watching TV after school and Sean comes running to me screaming "MARENA MARENA MARENA, GUESS WHAT GUESS WHAT!?!!????!!!!!" i quickly replied, "what?!" in an annoyed way. "Mommy and Daddy said we might go on vacation in HAWAII OVER FEBRUARY VACATION!!!" he screamed as he jumped up and down, "THATS SO COOL! I HAVE TO CALL SOPHIE!" i began running upstairs and my brother yells in whiny voice "NOOOOO YOU CANT! DADDY SAID WE CANT TELL PEOPLE UNTIL ITS DEFINITE!" but i ignored him and called sophie, who has been there before, she thought it was cool. i heard sean screaming to my mom from downstairs "MOMMY MARENAS TELLING HER FRIENDS! WAHHH! MOMMMMMY!!!!!!" anyway, it was more likely to not happen then to happen i later found out, i also found out that the only reson we would be going was because my dad had a business project there (he designs beuildings, like big night clubs, and malls, and resturants) but i was still excited and was hoping and praying it would work out, i have never been to hawaii! (i thought) how cool would it be to go! i started looking up things to do and places to see, and then found out 2 weeks later it was definite! we were going! i was sooo excited!!!!

so we found this adorable 3 bedroom condo that was pretty big, and it was all set! the 2 plane rides were SOOO long, but once we got there it was so much fun! i snorkled, boogie borded and did a lot more. one day when we were in the car on our way to the beach like the 3rd day [out of 6] and my dad was talking about how he will have to come out to hawaii a lot for the project he was the head of, then sean said "Are you gunna move here dad?" and he said "no.." and then sean said "are we all gunna move here?" and out parents didnt say anything for a few seconds and then nodded at eachother. "prbably, we are because if not daddy would have to live up here and thats what we decided, we would do it in august" "WHAT!?" me and my brother both replied. then sean burst into tears and i said "thats not fair! WHAT ABOUT MY FRIENDS, AND SCHOOL. YOU CANT DO THAT TO ME!!!" then i started crying. i COULDNT beleive it. but then most of the time at the beach me and my brother asked sooo many questions. the next day we looked at houses, and then looked at schools. i told 3 of my friends. when we went home i told more, and in about 3 weeks it became 90% sure and stayed that way till the beginning of may when it became 99% sure and then on mothers day (we always go to boston to visit our grandparents) my dad said at about 12:00am when we arrived in boston that he recieved a phonecall and it was definite we were all so excited, because at that point me and sean both thought it would be soo cool! we told everybody who we were friends with, and my parents talked about it all the time, 3 weeks ago we found this INCREDIBLE, beautiful house we are 99% sure that we will move in to. and now my dads in hawaii doing work he will come back in a few days though. so now im here. camp is in about 1 and a half weeks and then i go straight to hawaii from there, and my new life starts with my NEW school, NEW friends, NEW home, NEW everything! i am excited, nervous, happy, scared out of my mind, sad that im leaving my friends, worried, and more emotions!






and thats the beginning of this story!
